Job Description:

The Sales Administrator is a supportive role that acts as an administrative assistant to the Sales Team, while also facilitating collaboration within the team. The Sales Administrator will also function as a liaison between the Sales Team and the other departments within the organization

Key duties include processing sales team requests, managing purchase orders, handling shipping logistics, coordinating invoicing, and serving as a subject matter expert for CRM systems. This role plays a critical part in streamlining operations, enhancing client relationships, and driving organizational growth through strategic contributions and meticulous attention to detail.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales Team by managing schedules, creating sales documents and proposals, generating sales related reports for management, and performing general office functions.
  • Handle and prioritize prospects and customer requests among the Sales Team.
  • Serve as liaison with other departments in the company to gather documentation and data for supporting the Sales Team.
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other related events.
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company.
  • Monitor sales activity in ConnectWise and assist the Sales Representatives where needed.
  • Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in ConnectWise and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy.
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise as they occur.
  • Understand processes in ConnectWise by completing assigned training materials and blueprints on the ConnectWise University.
  • Enter all work as activities or service tickets in ConnectWise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, sales or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales support and customer service.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and logistics
  • MSP experience strongly preferred.
  • Subject matter expert for ConnectWise Manage and Sell administration.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 product and service sales (Microsoft 365, Modern Work and Azure fundamentals specifically).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions.
  • Background in programming languages such as Python (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
